Just ordered New Rules of Lifting for Women from Barnes & Noble! Just wanted to say I'm ecstatic and can't wait for it to get here!

Anyone want to share their experience with NROLFW? C'mon, get me pumped up!

    I got it last week.

    It's not written like a "dummies" book - i advise reading it like a regular book outside of the gym. Unless you're experienced, you really shouldn't expect to just flip to the exercise illustrations and just do them. Try to do that and you'll probably wish you hadn't.

    The exercises are illustrated adequately, but probably could be better. I'm partial to an occasional "what not to do" photo, which you won't get here (but that's just preference)

    I also like that its not JUST weights, but also body weight exercises, too.

    There's the occasional corn-ball commentary, but it's not too bad.

    I hope this gives you a little bit of insight.

    I'm in Stage 3 and I'm loving it! Definitely join the MFP group. Tons of great info there!
