Confused between TDEE and MFP

Hi everybody, I need a bit of help. Couple of weeks ago i changed to maintenance, i choose to do it through TDEE, which for me is 1950 if i consider myself moderate active(I do heavy lifting 4 ties a week and walk to work for 30 mins everyday). MFP maintenance calories are 1950 as well but if i work out then adds more calories so whats going on? I have put on two pounds but I'm not worried I know is my body adjusting to my new calorie intake or some water retention.
Which one should i follow? I am 24 years old, 5'9'' and 138 pounds. I think i am about 22%BF, and would like 18. I eat 100 calls under my goal for that. I am doing everything ok? I do not see much evolution, my arms are bigger but not very define...

tdee isn't 100% accurate and it's relative to how hard you work out etc etc... My tdee suggests I eat 3400 cals a day for maintenance based on daily exercise and physical job.. but that's way to much I added 500 to my BMR which puts me at 2300 and have been able to lean out while still staying at 180...I'd suggest to do something similar maybe add 350 to your BMR and see where that takes you0

You do not add exercise cals to your TDEE. You just eat 1950 per day regardless of whether you exercise or not. To use TDEE in MFP, when you track exercise, just set the calories burned to 1 calorie. Do that for a few weeks and see if you are gaining or losing (adjust TDEE accordingly). It is much easier to track this way once you find your true TDEE.0
