An Introductory Post

Hi all. My name is Sandy and I have been struggling on my own for the last year, since having a heart attack and quitting smoking on the same day, to try to stop putting on the weight.
Unfortunately it's been a losing battle. I am now 34lbs over my correct weight and it's depressing the heck out of me.
I am managing to keep from putting even more weight on but as yet can't lose any. I am hoping that by joining you all and logging all I eat and all exercise that I do might help me be strong and be more glass half full towards the fight rather than the glass half empty where I am now.
