All,
So glad I found this website. I am so encouraged by all of you for sharing your stories here. All my life I have gone up and down and up and down in my weight. I have had "thin" years, "normal" years and downright FAT years. I have always tried to exercise to keep somewhat fit. Over the past 5 years I have really let myself go. I cannot say I hate myself but I definitely don't like what I see. I am 44 years old and want to be in somewhat decent shape when I turn 45 in a few months. I know the weight will not just melt off but I know if I eat right, count my calories, and exercise like I need to I should do fine. I'm so glad I have all of you for inspiration. Thanks again!

    Hi, I'm new as of today. This site was recommended by my doctor. I just graduated the Couch to 5K program several weeks ago. I am currently running 3 miles, 3x a week. I cannot seem to lose any weight. So my doctor suggested I needed to be more stringent on my calorie counting so thats why I'm here. :)
