I have no idea what they are.

    They are a yam..they are very good...I use them instead of regular noodles and found them irresistible.

    They're just low calorie noodles that are made from yams. They come in these water filled bags that smell absolutely disgusting when you first open them so you have to wash and dry them before eating.

    So far they've worked really well for me. You can add different sauces and spices and its an effective substitute for pasta.
