Calories and Fasted State Cardio

Options
I've been reading about doing low intensity cardio to burn off stubborn fat. But some things just don't add up. To simplify things, the question is, to do cardio before breakfast when insulin levels are low or after breakfast when there's a spike. Fine, you burn more fat in fasted cardio instead of glycogen. But at the end of the day, you'll have more glycogen and if you eat the same amount of calories, won't any sugars not converted to glycogen just be converted to fat?

you're overthinking this. this make sure you're in a calorie deficit each day. excess calories get converted to fat no matter what the source. deficit means no excess means no worries
