Last year while I was living in Madrid I packed on a good 10-15 lbs, let myself try ALL the new foods, partied a little too much, and didn't exercise consistently. which I supposed is what study abroad is for. This year I moved to France, and I decided enough was enough! I have no gym, and live with a host family so I don't have a lot of control over my diet (not to mention that it's all french brands that i don't know etc.) However in the past 3 months, I've managed to lose 15 lbs with MFP, modified p90X and running. I couldn't be more greatful for the awesome support and advice I've found on here, and I want to thank everyone for that :-)

Also If I could do it (I have 0 willpowerd...) and while living abroad, you can do it too!

pics! I only have from about september until now, but over the course of july-december I went from 142lbs-123 lbs.

I don't know how to make the pictures show all the way up, but I fixed what I could. You need to copy the one that says for forums and change the IMGs to img. Maybe make the pics smaller?

You look great! Way to go!

It IS a challenge to enjoy extended time abroad and not gain weight due to all the local cuisine! I just let it go when I first moved to Germany and drank all the amazing beer I wanted and had carbtastic loaded meals every time we went out. After putting on quite a bit of the weight I worked so hard to loose, I figured it was time to stop living as if I were on permanent vacation. Keep up the good work girl but don't forget to enjoy what you want every now and then! :)
