chilis lighter 6oz sirloin meal

can someone please help me out. I plan on going to chilis for dinner and I am confused about the calories in the lighter classic 6oz sirloin meal served with steamed broccoli. is the 250 calories for the steak only or does that include the broccoli. it also says it comes with pico de gallo(which I wont be eating). I guess the other question is if anyone has eaten there is the pico served on the steak (I would like to order it without) or on the side. I guess what I want to know is if this is how they season the steak. also if someone could tell me why a classic 6oz steak would be 860 calories why is the lighter side one 250. and if the 250 is the whole meal how much is just the lighter steak.
so ?1. is calories for whole meal. ?2. is the pico how they season the steak ?3. how many calories are in the lighter steak(only steak) ?4. why does the regular 6oz steak have so many more calories.
here is where I am getting the calorie info from. http://www.chilis.com/EN/LocationSpecificPDF/MenuPDF/001.005.0000/Chilis Nutrition Menu Generic.pdf?AspxAutoDetectCookieSupport=1

The lighter sirloin alone is listed as 210 in their nutrition info, so 250 includes everything it's served with.

Regular 6oz is only 300 steak alone so your other numbers must include sides.

Yeah it's not technically possible for a 6 oz sirloin to only be 210 calories either.

A 6oz lean steak is 300 calories or so. I'd have to ask them how they managed to make one 210 calories.

so I should add another 90 calories to my diary to account for the difference? I have noticed that by checking a lot of different restaurant nutrition facts for the same steak most of them are around the same for there light option. so I guess im wondering then if they are putting the lower calories on there sites how can they get away with it, if its not accurate.? makes me wonder then how accurate any of the nutrition facts are for any restaurant.

Yeah I don't know. It's just odd. Outback has 6oz steaks for 250 calories though so who knows. 210 just seems VERY low. Maybe they do get very lean beef though.. *shrug*

My plan when I go out to a restaurant: Either quick add about 100 calories to whatever they are claiming, exercise a bit extra and don't eat it back, or just figure that I might go over a bit for the day. One meal isn't too big of a deal, especially if you think it might only be off about 1-200 calories. Skip a snack if it worries you too much.

Could it be that Outback adds butter when they cook and Chili's lighter Sirloin doesn't? I'm sure there's some element of science in the nutritional facts. Thought it's not meant to be perfect, not all steaks are going to be exactly 6oz and not all 6oz steaks are going to have the identical fat vs lean beef vs water composition.

I'd stick with the 210 if it were me. If I start trying to get cute and adjust things to what I think they should be, I might as well just use the Quick Add Calories for all of my meals..
