I had singleton in 2000 and had twins in 2011. i have been working out pretty steady since Nov of 2011. I have noticed that every where but my stomach has toned down almost to before pregnancy. I lost 4 pants sizes, gained muscle and i have lost 34 inches my arms have toned. The scale has not gone down a whole lot but i am not too worried about that I try to Focus on other things. I just feel like the more i work out the floppier my belly looks. I feel like it will never go away. I do a variety of exercise strength training, HIIT workouts some times I walk and run outside. I do workout at home so I switch up what I do all the time. My Dr. thinks that because of genetics i will not lose this baby belly. I just feel like I look funny with a smaller lower body and floppy belly :grumble:

Sadly, to my understanding, losing the weight is probably the only way to achieve a flat stomach. I've lost 42 lbs since 6 weeks postpartum with my second baby and I still don't have a flat stomach. Where you lose is genetics. I have a very lean back, even my thighs are starting to cooperate and still the belly fat is clinging. It's a slow process but I don't think you're stuck with it! Keep up a slow steady loss and over time, your belly should follow suit.

I never carried a lot of weight in my belly but after 3 kids I definitely have some extra skin there. I will probably eventually give in and have to have it surgically removed. ( My "baby" is 17 years old)
