Hi I am 5'1 and 117lbs and i am working on getting toned.
I feel as if that it is taking me forever to get toned because I am short but i am not quite sure ?? Does anyone have any great toning exercises?
I dont know if it my diet that is making me not become toned?
How long does it take for one to get toned?
If anyone could help that would be great and much appreciated
Thanks(:

Your height has nothing to do with muscle composition. I dated a guy that was 4"11 & jacked.0

Haha dang do you have any idea how long it takes to get toned? I know the question probably sounds kind of stupid0

It takes as long as it takes. I am short too. Feel free to peruse my profile pics, I have lost weight and lowered my body fat percentage, revealing muscle definition. It has taken me almost two years to get to this point after losing 50#0

I beat you. I'm 5' nothing. And while I am not toned, I'm pretty sure it works the same way whether you are 3'6" or 7'10". Build muscle, reduce fat.0

Lift heavy for whatever you want to be toned, and that's the fastest way to get it. Most of mine snaps back (I was quite fit before) within 8 weeks. By 12 weeks for sure. I don't know how that usually goes, but I figured I'd give you one example, lol.
Actually building muscle is a different thing and much harder, imho. I have some delts that can attest to the difference between 'toned' and actually big at allMy poor little piddly delts! But they are firm; I'll give them that

Thanks! I lift heavy, following Stronglifts 5x5 plus adding some accessory lifts. I very occasionally run and play tennis.0
