I'm a little afraid to weigh in this week, I spent the last 10 days in the U.S. for the first time in over 2 years for Thanksgiving. I didn't binge and watched portions. But oh man, so much good food though. I can't really say I regret much because I never get to see family and it was nice to enjoy some family recipes and foods I haven't had in a long time because I live overseas. I got back in the saddle, though. Logging in and going to the gym as usual.

Just curious to know what your experiences were when losing weight and you were on vacation, and then coming back.

I nearly always lose weight when I go away, as I'm quite fussy about what I eat, so am limited, especially in countries where I can't read good labels.

Also, if I'm on vacation and not visiting family,I take photos...this can mean hours and hours of wandering the streets....burns up some calories, along with the pool I like to have in my hotel.....

Same here, I walk a LOT when I'm on vacation. Even when not trying to lose weight, I usually come back a little lighter.
Aside, flying coach class at goal weight is a COMPLETELY different experience from flying when overweight. The seats are actually kinda roomy. It's awesome.
