Removing "---- commented on ----- status update"

Hi guys! When I was on MFP before I could have sworn there was a way to set your profile so that it no longer posted when you commented on other people's statuses. I am very supportive and I make a lot of comments but it always takes up my whole wall. Then I miss when people post on it! Any help?
Thanks!

Hi
I think that was removed from the site - mine just disappeared. I like it as I don't get so much "chatter" on my wall now!0 -
It's under Settings (at the top next to Log Out) and from that menu pick "Automatic News Feed Update Settings" and uncheck " I commented on someone else's news feed update" & "I wrote on someone else's profile page". I also uncheck "I reply to a topic on the message boards" because that takes up my news feed too haha Good luck!0
