As a lifelong Seahawks fan I am looking forward to seeing and hearing the example that 49'er fans who think noise at a football game is unfair are going to set in this big match-up at Candlestick park. I expect something akin to when a putt is being attempted at a golf major. I trust the upstanding San Francisco fans in attendance will not disappoint. :drinker:

I live in Seattle and am a 49er fan. Its not easy but let me tell you, the Hawks fans in general are rude and disrespectful, they should get the clink under control!

    GO NINERS!

And that, my friend, is why it is so important for your friends in the Bay Area to show the barbaric hordes up here in Seattle how it should be done. I'm really interested to see a quiet stadium where the crowd makes sure they do not influence anything on the field, allowing the best team to determine the winner. I look forward to a proper education in the art of fandom that I may share with my compatriots. We only know one way to support our team. LOUDLY!

Didn't you rate a small earthquake the other day at one of your game. Fantastic

Yep. For some reason the Saints bring out the beasts in us all. Happened when they were here in 2011 for the playoffs also. We're so primitive.

I like how lots of Seahawks fans actually think they're fans are louder at the home games. The architecture and acoustics of your stadium were designed to reflect noise to field level. Your fans aren't louder, they're not better, and if you think that the noise level on the field isn't a huuuuge advantage when you play at home, you're wrong.

Yep, it's all the stadium, which is why the Seahawks have been undefeated at home since it was built. Oh wait. Just like when they played in the Kingdome and at the old Husky Stadium while the current one was being built, it's all the stadium. I like how lots of "fans" blame the noise in Seattle when their teams lose, while the players for their respective teams step up and admit if they hadn't missed opportunities when they had them they could quiet that crowd down.

As I said originally, I look forward to the 49'er fans setting the example of how it should be done not only in Candlestick Park, but in their new stadium as well, which is being build coincidentally by the same company that built the Seahawks stadium.

Yep, it's so unsportsmanlike. That's why the 49ers recently sent a memo to all their season ticket holders telling them to be "Quiet on offense, deafening on defense" (imitation is, after all, the sincerest form of flattery). We'll see if the Frisco fans have it in 'em, or if it even matters.

    Go Hawks!

Well, as a life long Vikings fan (shame and embarassment :blushing:) I will be rooting for the Seahawks, they have earned it and deserve it.

The Seahawks are undefeated at home this season (6-0). They are 65-29 at home since the current stadium opened.

They look to be Super Bowl bound this season.

Where in my post did I say that the Seahawks aren't a really good team and that it's "all the stadium". Obviously the Seahawks are a great team this season, but that doesn't mean the acoustics of their stadium isn't an advantage at home. I also never said that it's unsportsmanlike for the home team to be loud, that's absurd. Every home crowd should be as loud as they can, just recognize the advantage of the acoustics of your stadium, that's all I'm saying. Notice how they were 8-0 at home last year, and 3-5 on the road. There's a reason for that...
