Saggy skin?(35 kg lost)

Hi guys.
I need some help. Has anyone had any surgery to tighten up skin after a major weight loss?
I've lost 35 kg so far, and I plan to lose about 10-15 kg more. My skin is starting to sag more and more around my stomach, and I'm really really unhappy. It bothers me so much, and I can't look at my body without being sad. I was wondering if anyone, with experience, could look at some pictures of me, and give me a honest opinion. If anyone can help, please let me know, and I will send the pictures. It's not the most flattering pictures, so I'm not that into putting them out here.

Thank you so much.

Don't be too disheartened at this stage. Many people's skin will shrink back down at least 50% and I know this is true as I've seen it happen but it takes time. Use some vitamin e cream on vulnerable places and give it a good 3-6 months before worrying to much. Also lift to fill out more could be a good option if your not. Good luck

It can take up to two years for skin to retract do don't panic just yet. Most of it though is down to genetics

I have lost 40kg and have some too! Especially my stomach and my arms and a little on my thighs. Really disheartening to see it in the mirror some days! It also gets in the way sometimes when I am exercising and causes pain. I would really like to know other peoples answers because I am curious too.

I am generally Against surgery But in your case you should go for it . It is all about feeling good . Those skin wont go away by itself and you have many many years to look at mirror

Of the note My close friend had surgery and she is very happy (just abdomen area )she is 33 years old and at work one lady had it she must be in late 50

    Good luck

Firstly, great job on losing the weight and you look great in your pics.

Now, I know how frustrating loose skin can be. I have it on my arms, thighs and of course my tum after carrying 5 big babies. I say give your skin some time to catch up naturally for now and do what you can to help it without resorting to surgery until you're sure it won't get better.

Our skin is amazing! After one of my babies my tummy skin extended half way down to my knees when I sat down but even with lots of stretchmarks it pulled up on its own gradually (not to a flat tummy because I've never had one as I've always been overweight before, but the difference after a few months was amazing even without exercise).

What exercise do you do? Since I started lifting my tummy seems to be slowly improving. I ended up skinny fat but now I'm trying to do a lean bulk to recomp. I'm feeding my body with more cals to try to build muscle to fill out my skin and give me a better shape. I am pleased with my results so far and my clothes seem to be getting looser even though I'm showing as a little heavier on the scale. I guess its because I'm gaining muscle which takes up less space than fat and helps your body burn more fat everyday.
