How many calories should we be eating

MFP says I should eat 1410 calories a day. I am a home daycare provider, so pretty much constantly on my feet moving around and then try to get to the gym 4-5 times a week, and if not that I get outside for a run.

My current weight is 232lbs.
Sometimes i feel that the 1410 calories is enough, but there are days (like today) where I just felt like I couldn't eat enough food.

Is there another app, or website that people help figure out how many calories to eat and what your BMR might be?

Also, anyone else have days where you feel like eating, eating, eating?

Thanks

What is your activity level set to? And are you logging your exercise and eating back any of the extra calories you earn? You may be able to eat more calories at your activity level.

Look for foods with more protein, fat, and fiber. These help us stay fuller for longer.

If you want to do TDEE method - try the link above.

If you're using MFPs numbers be sure to eat back your exercise calories.

It is normal to feel underfed when you are trying to lose weight. Your body is demanding calories to maintain your current weight, your head is wanting a lower number on the scale. Trust me, I know the feeling. I used to call it my fat cells screaming out in rebellion. It is hard, but you can do it! Put your head down and plow forward, no matter what!

when your hungry eat lower calorie stuff - its hard to gain much weight eating fruit - any fruit has like 50 cal each, compared to 150-250 calories for a cookie or soda pop.
