5 to 10 pounds until goal- how many calories are you eating?

I do use a food scale consistently. I was losing 1-1.5 pounds per week prior to my 2 month plateau. I thought adding strength training and increasing my calories would help kick start the losses again. I just increased my calories as of yesterday.I am 5'6" and about ten pounds from my goal weight of 135. I started at 180. I just upped my calories from 1200 to 1400 and started doing resistance training in addition to light cardio.
Anyone else in a similar situation? I have been stalled at my current weight for over 2 months and hoping I am on the right track to lose the last 10!
What other people are eating for caloric intake won't effect what you should be eating.
Why did you increase your calories when you went from 180 to 145 and what pace were you losing weight at when you went from 180 to 145? Can you tell me how many lbs per week you were losing in the past ~8 weeks or so prior to you increasing calories?
Are you using a food scale?0 -
Ok, so to be clear, you increased calories AFTER you had stalled for several weeks?
Are you eating back exercise calories?0 -
I am down to 1300 after my last adjustment, 5 more lbs to go.0

6 pounds to go until my goal weight of 118lbs.
I eat 1300 net calories for a .5lb weight loss per week, but it has slowed considerably. I hope to shed these 6 pounds by march 14.
I'm 5'6 in height.0 -
I have 4 kg to go (so about 9 pounds) to my goal, and I eat 1500 calories per day plus most of my exercise calories (some days all of them, other days not all of them - going by whether I'm still hungry pretty much)
I think I'm eating pretty close to what my maintenance calories would be at goal weight, just a bit less. I'm only losing about 1 kg (2.2 pounds) per month right now, but I'm fine with that.0 -
No I am not eating back exercise calories unless I'm hungrier than usual, and I would only eat around 25% of the exercise calories. And yes I did increase my calories after experiencing a stall and added in resistance training.Ok, so to be clear, you increased calories AFTER you had stalled for several weeks?

I am less than 10lbs away from my goal. My weight stalled out 10lbs ago, so I added HIIT cardio to my workouts instead of running, stationary bike. www.fitnessblender.com. I also upped my calories from 1200 to 1350 & only had a slight stall. I'm hoping to up my calories to 1400 in about 5lbs. I'm going HIIT cardio about 4X week & just started adding bodyweight routines. I do yoga or pilates 1-2X week as well. Hope that helps!0
