I'm not sure I understand the question. The food you are eating is healthy, but so is meat, potatoes, and veggies. It's all about how many calories you are eating.

It doesn't sound like very much food, but why would you be sick eating this? Why did you give up meat and potatoes in the first place?

Is the meals unhealthy. A friend commented how that is probly while my youngest and I are always sick. (2 out of 7 of us are sick often. We both have a genetic illness). I had others say it was not "substantial" another who said if my dh was a real man he would sneat a meatball sub.

I iam saying meat and potatoes at everymeal. If you see dh has turkey sanwich. We still eat potatoes and we eat meat at each lunch and dinner. We just are eating a lot more veggies and cutting back on carbs (not eliminating)

They seem healthy-ish to me, but one meal can be healthy while the overall diet is not. And I don't think meat is any unhealthier than all that protein powder.

When I calculated it it was 1000 callories.
That leaves him 800 for dinner and if he chooses to have a cup or 4 (coffee adicted) with his normal 4 creams 3 sugars.

We still eat meat (see turkey sandwich). I was only giving it to him for breakfast. He wanted to add another during lunch. He hates cold meat unless in a sandwich.

So this is what your husband eats for his meals, are you eating the same? You haven't tracked anything in the last couple weeks, are you trying to find a diet to help you lose some weight?

You might have wanted to include that there's coffee and dinner in there as well.

I am usually forget to track. I typicly dont eat till dinner. Though I have been eating breakfast. (A serving of special k and almond milk in the Am). I then dont typically eat till dinner . I am a drinker not a eater. Though I recently cut out the soda. I just forget to track.

Thats why they were labled breakfast, lunch and snacks. I guess I figured people would know a dinner would be in there.

If that is all you are eating, you are eating way too few calories which can lead to decreased immune function just as eating too many calories can lead to immune problems. Seeing as you have not entered any food in your food diary in the last several days it seems from this that instead of counting your calories, you are using some diet that limits food to a certain meal plan. If what you mentioned here is that food, it is likely you are not eating near enough to provide the nutrients you need for your body to run well.

Check your macros, that may help. The food sounds healthy but like others have said so are veggies, meat and starches. Moderation and not depriving yourself seem to be the key of many of the successful people on here. Wish you guys the best.

I have to agree with this. I've read in several places (Please do your own research into this as I am no professional, just what i've gathered over time) that women shouldn't go below 1200 calories and men shouldn't go below 1500 calories. Again, everyone is different and what works for some may not work for others, but you have to find what works for you. Getting to a goal weight but making yourself unhealthy in the process doesn't seem like the best idea, but to each their own.

    Ummm NO.

To the concept of this whole entire post. What you listed above all look like good things to eat. Surely nothing you would get sick from (your genetic disease aside) Regarding whatever food you are eating, the question should be "Is it enough?"

Also, meat and potatoes arent bad either. Its really not a matter of what, but how much? Are you getting enough and is the variety providing the proper macro (carbs, fats, protein) and micronutrients (vitamins and minerals) your body needs.
