3 weeks and counting

Hi all -
I downloaded the MFP app for droid about 3 weeks ago just to keep tabs on calories as I start to workout again, mostly because of a tendency to under-eat and then binge when I exercise and diet. The App has been keeping me on track, but it kills the phones battery life.
So 3 weeks ago I started at 246 lbs and have dropped almost 10 already. I'm trying to hit 220 using only diet changes and cardio (go treadmills). I keep track of my Heart Rate to make sure it stays under 160, and was able to run/jog at 5.3mph for 30 minutes with that HR goal today, w00t. After reaching 220 I plan on adding in some weight training or classes for variety on the way to my first goal of 200.
Anyway I'm just starting to explore the forums and the rest of the site, so thanks for reading, see you around.
