    "Curvy" is a subjective term. In general men like slim and shapely women with defined waists. The average woman in a men's magazine is 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 115 pounds and has measurements of 35-23-34. A BMI of 18 or 19 isn't conducive to having large breasts so most have to get implants to meet the ideal.
    A true hourglass will have large breasts with a low BMI. Just sayin'.

    Curves as in a chubby girl or curves as in a south american curvy-like physique because the term CURVY is used loosely nowadays.

    When men say they like "curves" I think women may take it differently than men mean it.

    I think when men say curvy they mean an hour glass shape. Maybe... They prefer curvy like Kate Upton or Jennifer Lawrence or Scarlett Johansson (who most of us women wouldn't consider curvy) as apposed to stick skinny like Keira Knightley or Nicole Richie.

    But when a woman hears curvy she thinks more like Mindy Kaling or Christina Hendricks. Not that these women aren't beautiful, I just don't think most men think of them when they think of curvy women.

    ETA - W:H ratio is a key factor in female attractiveness in males. 0.7-0.8 is ideal if I remember correctly. Therefore, yes. men like curves.

    I :heart: this thread. Especially the first guy's distinction b/w what is NOT curves I was all rooting for him but then all of a sudden...he said curvy was PLURAL? What? Curves is the plural of curve, not curvy? Curvy is an adjective. It describes a noun in this case the woman. Or her rolls?

    I don't know what men like as far as regular curves or too many of them...I only know that all my life at any size wherever I go, they like me. Even this morning, on the treadmill, huffing and puffing, I had a friend who I've seen there before. And he can clearly see exactly what size I am because spandex.

    i find the topic interesting... in my experience my CURVES work more in the bedroom than the abs... obviously this isnt always the case, but it leaves me wondering how they got their abs in the first place. ;) something to think about boys hehehehe *mwah*
