Weight Lifting and Weight Gaining

So I have always done some weights, but when I am trying to loss weight i have always went cardio heavy, I switched it up where a day looks like this:
20 minutes ARC Trainer
Deadlifts 45lbs 10x3
Row 50lbs 10x3
Dumbbell chest press 30lbs 10x3
Curl press 30 x 10
Kettlebell oblique side pull 15 each side 40lbs
Bent over row machine 10x3 84lbs
Cable fly 36lbs each arm 10x3
Kettlebell swing 25lbs 10x3
Farmers Walk 40lbs 20 steps each side
So I have been uping my weights, building off a very simple workout given to me by my trainer. Above is mostly upper body, throw my deadlifts in their because my knees (arthritis in both) can't handle more than I am already doing that day.
So three weeks of this, 2 different workouts to target multiple body systems and my scale keeps going up.
What is realistic weight gain from lifting, I know at some point it will start burning more fat but right now the number on the scale is scaring me.

What you are likely seeing on the scale right now is extra water retention in your muscles. Our bodies flood sore muscles with fluid to help cushion and repair them. This gives the muscles a "pumped" look and you'll see a corresponding rise on the scale.0
