Treadmills on Incline

When I log my jogging on the treadmill, I'm not finding an option on MFP that takes into account the incline. I see you can search by speed, but not speed plus incline. Maybe I'm not searching the MFP database correctly?
Does the incline effect cals burned? I heard a personal trainer at the gym tell her client to put the treadmill on at least a 2% incline (otherwise, the "treadmill is doing a lot of the work for you").
The biggest question I have for people with a heart rate monitor or similar device...what's the difference between the estimate the treadmill gives you...and what the personal device gives you? And how do these compare to MFP's estimates?

My HRM said I burned a fair bit more than the treadmill said. I have a Polar.0

For the most part, the higher the incline the more calories burned. In fact many people with knee or ankle that want to avoid the impact of running on a treadmill, walk on a treadmill at an incline. The MFP database does not currently have an incline related entries that I have found. I have a new fitbit force on order, and I am really interested to compare it with my treadmill readings.0

In the data-base it's under Stair-treadmill ergometer, general.0 -

Ok so I just used that in the database and that was closer to what the treadmill gave me. It over estimated, so I just rounded down the minutes on it.0 -
