bodybeast nutrition

How has everyone adjusted their calories after starting body beast or any similar workout plan?

I still need to shed some fat, so I normally watch my carbs but since starting Body Beast I find that I'm hungry to the point of being dizzy - which is not AT ALL what I'm going for.

I don't have anything to track calories burned during exercise, so I normally just eat back 200-300. I've been trying to keep an eye on my macros too and am normally around 35% carbs, 25% fat, and 40% protein----Any advice or sugegestions?

    Try using iifym.com to calculate your calorie needs......the way they do it, you can factor in exercise as part of your TDEE.

    Also carbs are not the enemy....just making sure you stay about 20% below TDEE will lead to weight loss.

    Also note that carbs do tend to drive your appetite......so the more carbs, the more hungry....the less carbs, the less hungry.
    That is how it works for me anyways.....

    I would scrap ratios for your macro needs, and calculate your macros like this:
    Protein == 0.8 - 1.0 gr / pound of body weight
    Fat == 0.4 / pound of Body weight <---minimum
    Carbs can be whatever you like to make up the remainder of your calories, or if in your case to lose weight, then you can lower your carbs.

    1 gr of protein or carbs == 4 calories
    1 gr of fat == 9 calories.
