I lost 4.5 pounds in a week. How?

Hello,

I am trying to figure out how i lost 4.5 pounds in a week. I ate 1250 calories a day and had 2 weight lifting sessions and 4 cardio sessions. Surely, this was not worth 15,750 cals? (3500 in a pound x 4.5)

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

    Did you just start the diet? Water weight, probably. Unless you're really heavy and 1,250 is like nothing in comparison to what you're burning but you don't look it so....probably water. If you've been exercising for a month or so now, you might be losing that initial weight that you put on.
