Race for the Cure Dates

My sister was diagnosed with breast cancer last year about this time. She has since undergone chemo and radiation and things are looking good. My sister, many in our family, and I are going to participate in two Races for the Cure this year., one in her home town and one in mine.

I thought this would be a great place to post where and when the Races for the Cure will be held this year. What a wonderful way to get some exercise and help a great cause.

    My wife was diagnosed with bc 9/5/08. She's cancer free after the trypical trio of treatments. We will be there every year.

    October 3rd in Edmonton Alberta - my FIRST run ever! :) I'm very excited as I've raised over $500 for research, and have 3 women who have been effected with Breast Cancer. I'm so excited to be running for them!

    I have an aunt who survived breast cancer in 2008. I will be racing in Phoenix on October 10.

    I also have an aunt (who is only one year older than I) who is a 5yr + cancer survivor. I will be running/walking my first ever 5K next month!! I am also very excited to be participating in this.
