Does having more muscle make you hotter?

Yes, I know being muscular and strong makes you look hot, but I'm asking about body temperature
I work in an office with 6 other ladies who are all sedentary and overweight. I still have some weight to lose but exercise a few times a week (cardio and heavy lifting). The other ladies in my office are always cold. They are bundled up in sweaters while I wear sleeveless shirts and am warm all the time. This has only started happening in the last year or two, since I've been working out.
Does increasing muscle mass help keep your body temperature up? (I don't have any kind of medical condition that I know of).
