Low carb filling main meals

Heya, my nutritionist has put me on a healthy eating plan but I'm struggling with it. I see the sense and am not arguing it but the practicality is proving to be an issue. I'm hoping you guys can offer some help on recipes please.

The big problem is that the "main" meal that has some carbs is at lunch time - I see the sense, more of the day to burn off the carbs and give energy, but, I don't have the time to cook a proper meal then not to mention the family is in different places, as it is for many people.

The evening meal that we eat together should contain no pasta, rice, potatoes or bread, no red meats.

Now add to that gluten intolerance, lactose intolerance (hard cheese is ok), fish and nut allergy. We want a proper, filling, hot meal that won't take above an hour and half to cook. Beans are acceptable but not something I want to eat frequently (those familiar with gluten intolerance will understand why)

I hope someone can offer some suggestions please, I'm really feeling down about all this.

I absolutely LOVE my crock pot! One of my favorite meals is Salsa Chicken. I usually serve it with rice for my family, but I eat mine with cabbage. Very filling and delicious! I found tons of low carb recipes on the internet. You can also use the search button above for low carb recipes: You take a package of frozen chicken breasts (or chicken tenderloins) and put them in a crock pot. Then add a jar of salsa, package of taco seasoning, and an 8 oz package of cream cheese, cubed into the crock pot. Cook on low for 7-8 hours or on high for about 4 hours. I usuall stir a few times though, just to mix everything up, but I don't think you have to. It makes a delicous creamy salsa chicken that you can put on top of faux rice, low carb pasta, or veggies. Hope you enjoy!
