Mommy of 7 trying to lose 50 pounds!

I've gained 30 - 40lbs since having my last baby a year ago and haven't really been able to exercise because I had a c-section and it was too painful to get up and do anything too straineous, but now I'm totally ready to lose this weight. So if any of you mommys out there have any advice about c-sections and exercises that will help streghten that area back up, add me! :)
