Making a change for me!

I have had trouble with my weight ever since I graduated from high school in 2008. By the same time a year later I was up from 117 pounds to 150 pounds. From there the weight gradually went up until where I am today at 185 pounds. I couldn't believe it when I stepped on the scale that I avoided like the plague. Sure, I knew I was gaining weight. My jeans didn't fit, I couldn't wear my own shirts (hello hubby's clothes!) and I hated to see myself and my rolls and my stretch marks in the mirror.
I've tried fad diets in the past when my mom went on a weight loss binge but nothing stuck. Even traditional diet and exercise didn't stick with me. I lack motivation. Everything is good for a week or two then i bottom out and go back to my old ways. But not now! I am planning to make a change.
As of Monday December 9th I purchased a gym membership, I revamped my diet and as of today I went to my very first session at the gym at 5:30am before work and you know what?
I FELT GREAT!
I am excited to go again tomorrow. And I am excited to make a change because I am done. No more excuses, no more avoidance, no more acceptance. I am making a stand for me and my health!
