Upping Calories for last few pounds

I am about a pound away from my goal weight of 145 pounds at 5 '9. I might try to lose an extra 5-10 pounds but for now I think I've come to the point where I know I should up my calories.
I workout about 5-6 days a week for about an hour, mix of strength and cardio and I have been eating around 1500 calories a day.

I think I know now that's probably not enough but I'm not sure how I should go about upping the calories. For those out there who have a bit of knowledge about this, do you recommend a gradual increase? I have never achieved my goal before despite years of trying so i'm very excited that I've reached my goal but I also want to be smart about it and find a balance of eating enough without gaining the weight back.
Any tips or experience is appreciated.

Why change something that is working. Also 1 lb from goal weight is inconsequential considering most people will fluctuate 3 to 5 lbs a day.

I didn't up my calories and I won't... I've been eating around 1600-1650 for months. As I lose weight, my calories are going proportionally up, as I should adjust down but I don't. It works for me (plus I'm a bit less active now that I can't walk 2 hours outside anymore every day).
