Weight Loss Per Week...

Hi,

So... I'm just curious about what everyone else uses for their desired weight loss per week. I have mine set at 1 pound per week right now. This was fairly easy in the beginning, but now that I'm getting closer to my goal, it seems like it's a lot harder to do. I'm debating whether or not I want to change it to 0.5 pounds per week. That' way I'd be able to eat a couple hundred more calories.

What do you guys think? How do you decide how much you want to lose in a week? Any input would be very helpful. I desperately want to lose these last 10-15 pounds fairly quickly, but I'm getting frustrating only eating 1,200 calories a day. I'm worried that by changing my fitness profile to 0.5 pounds a week that it will take forever. Help!

    did you put that extra weight on quickly?

    If you answer no then you know what you need to do...

    I eat 1600 to lose on anywhere between 1/2 and a 1lb a week...but I am happy with 1/2 since I only have 9 to go...keeping in mind I changed my goal weight about almost 2months ago to 155 as I hit my 165 and I decided another 10lbs wouldn't hurt.

    But with 11lbs to go you really should go for 1/2lb a week....that would be reasonable.
