Hard to get started

Today was one of those days I didn't even want to get out of bed. I made myself get up and exercise and eat breakfast. Been depressed since losing my job. Have a hard time sitting around the house all day. I know I could volunteer but need gas to get there. Maybe tomorrow I will be able to walk, the roads will be clear by then. The only bright spot of the day was I was going through some of my big clothes and found a t-shirt my husband got me years ago. Its is a stork trying to eat a frog which has its hands around the storks throat and says Don't Ever Give Up.. It brightened my day and made think of the positive things in my life.

Been there and now exactly how you feel. I lost my job and was out of work for almost a year which happened just when my wife was 8 months pregnant. We struggled for what seemed like forever. But now I'm working and back on my feet. There will always be something to worry or be down about but I am sure you will come out the other end much happier. If everything was effortless without any worry etc, I don't think you would ever feel like you have accomplished anything. Anyways enough rambling. my message is its a wall that only you can knock down. Pick yourself up and focus on how it will be at the end. Good luck.

    Tough love here:
There are people out there with health issues that are ultimately going to lead to death much sooner than they'd like. And many of them are some of the most grateful people out there for just being able to live pain free during that time.
Losing a job sucks, but how many of these people would love to trade places with you? I'm not saying that what happened to you is insignificant, just saying that it could be much much worse.
Bring that chin up and get some work done while you can. The world is going to go on whether you want it to or not, you just have to decide how you want to do it.

Get up. Do 10 minutes - of anything. Abs, hoola hooping, jump roping, running in place, whatever. Get started and I think you'll find it will start you up.

Do not wallow in this. You deserve to be healthy, job or no.

    You. Deserve. Healthy.

Somedays...the hardest weight to lift, is your butt out of that bed. Just get up put one foot in front of the other and always keep moving forward!!
