New to the forums, just saying hi

Hi, I'm Desirea. I have been trying to loose weight for a long time but just became serious about it a few months ago. I started loosing weight back in 2010 when I reached my heaviest weight of 265. :cry: I managed to loose about 30 pounds before joining MFP this past summer. Its just been the past couple months that I became serious about logging though. To date I'm down 41 pounds and really looking at 2014 as being my year to complete this journey. :smile: My current goal is to reach 165 and take it from there, I may want to keep loosing but I like the idea of an even 100 pounds to loose as a my goal.

    You look great, keep it up! The hardest part is getting started. It takes 30 days to make something a habit so for 30 days make it your goal to log and eat as healthy as possible. After you get through that, the rest will take it's place. Try to walk as much as possible if you don't already have a workout routine in play. Get ahold of me if you need anything at all.

    Thanks CBD1983! I'm not much of a walker, I'm way more interested in running! :happy: I've signed up for 2 5ks this summer and I've been running at the gym since its snowy outside. I've got a ways to go but ran 1.3 miles yesterday so I'm getting there. Thank you for your support!
