I set up my goals through the guided start up, I am currently at 184 lbs. 5"6, I want to get down to 160. I can consume 1200 calories . I do plan on running, and using the elipitcal trainer too. What do you think? Is 1lb more realistic? Any words of wisdom, I have no patience.............

I'd go with 1 lb. You may actually lose more but at least it gives you a decent budget to work with. 1200 calories is hard to stick to.0

MFP gives you the 1200 but in reality for me anyway I found that closer to 1400 is what works .... basically try it for a month (or more) and see if you get results if not adjust your calories and exercise and try it another month or so ... find your balance and good luck!0

You don't have a that much weight to lose. One pound a week would be much more reasonable.0

ok, sounds good - I should have a little more patience .... I think 1400 is more realistic. Thanks!0
