What is the deal with sodium causing water to be retained? I can't believe how much sodium canned soup has. I'm afraid I'm going to have to give up canned soup. That's OK though because I like making my own anyway. Most food I buy in the grocery store is way too salty for me anyway.

    It's amazing to me how so many so-called 'healthy' foods or 'healthier' versions of food are jam-packed with sodium.

    Canned goods were one of the first items I worked out of most of my diet, canned soup especially. There are a few that aren't as bad, but you can easily make homemade soup and control every ingredient.

    Yeah...and ultimately it is about taking back control. Canned soups suck!!!
