10 years ago is was fit and healthy, yep blew that out of the window (became a publican!); 4 years ago i got my self motivated and forced off 4 stone. Being pleased with my self I relaxed..... oh what a mistake 4years aparently=3stone.... Time to start again, once again a four stone target, prefurably by the shortest route possable, hoping to get where i should have the last time.
This time I am more motivated, only 42 but feeling the stains of getting older, Now is the time to correct it, so here I am Day 3 on my quest for a longer healthier life.
We've all had simular thoughts, that's what brings us to this site; Lets all be strong together.

Good for you!!!!! I wish you luck and hope that you get to where you want to be. I too am a bit of a yo yo girl I was very happy with my weight 3 years ago then I went and gave up smoking this apparently equals about 2 1/2 stone!
I was doing really well then with hols and visitors I lost the plot for a bit (I like a drink and that tends to lead to crappy food blah de blah) BUT I TOO THINK THAT THE MOTIVATION IS BACK WHERE IT OUGHT TO BE woo hoo!
Good luck to us both eh?0 -
Had to mention smoking..... Day one on patches..
Got to say though this site does seem very freindly..
I find it very positive to see how well others are doing/done.
If others can do it so can I. Although feeling a little indestructable at the moment motivation pouring out, feel a 10 mile cycle ride coming on.
Thanks all for support.0 -
Oops, sorry bout that! Way to go you attacking all sides, you go for it I can honestly say that it is the best thing I have ever done, not easy but soooooo worthwhile I wouldn't be biking etc if I was still on the weed!
