HI there

I am struggling with the amount of calories to stay by in order to lose weight, I just wanted some feedback from over 50 ladies who may have also struggled with being advised(I have been suggested to eat this way) to have higher calories etc. eat high protein, low carbs, low fat, only berries etc

I am 53, 5'3, 194 pounds , I see a training 30 minutes three times a week, doing lifting, spin class 3 times a week for 60 minutes(which also includes circuit training, weights, running, it varies every class what is incorporated) I have embarked on this program for now 4 months and yes my body shape has changed (things have somewhat lifted a bit if I dare say) and I have gained muscle and yes lost 2 inches from my waist, one hips and one upper thigh) so please do not get me wrong I am very pleased with these results and I feel wonderful, but I still need to lose weight and the scale is not moving. I did loose 7 pounds but am now up two from last week as the weight was not moving, trainer suggested I up to 1,550 calories....well I knew it would not go well but I tried....as said up two pounds.

So if you could perhaps share your success and did you reduce your calories to 1200 or so due to age or what worked for you, I realize everyone is very different but I would truly love to hear from you.

Thank you
