Hey guys could really do with some help!
Heading home in 9 days and SERIOUSLY need to lose weight
I've put on much since coming here from eating to the excess as well as drinking
I'm after starting my new diet which I hope to continue on for a long time with the exception of the festive days coming
I'm going to gym it everyday
How long till I see results?

At least 30 days before you see change. Sorry, 1 week is nothing,0

Don't know your stats and calorie goal but you should aim to lose between 0.5lbs to 2lbs a week, depending on how much you have to lose.
Also, seeing results is different from one person to another. The numbers on the scale don't always reflect what is happening to the body and the other way around is also true.
IMO don't expect to see results losing faster than you have seen the gains creep on you0 -
How much weight do you think you're gonna lose in 9 days?0

Depends on your diet. You cannot out exercise a bad diet (essentially this means it is much easier to eat 500+ cals than it is to burn them)
So, get your caloric intake in order and you will lose weight, 100% guaranteed, though to get the correct intake may take a little trial and error, start with MFP recommendation, and weigh solid foods, and measure liquids to ensure you are not eating more than you think you are.0 -
Hi there! You're looking at it the wrong way, you need a lifestyle change not a diet. A diet will get you skinny (maybe) but what then? Will you gain the weight back again? You need to learn about the macronutrients your body needs, and how to get it to a healthy weight, not just an arbitrary number where you think you'll look hot. To answer your question, 3500 calories is the amount of energy needed to consume 1 pound. You need to find out your TDEE (google it, it'll point you to a calculator) and then find out how many calories you expend per day; eat less than that and you'll lose weight0
