How close do i need to get to my macros?

I was wondering how close i must get to my macros on my fitness pal? It would be great if someone could take a look at my diary and let me know if i'm doing alright with them. I'm not sure whether to go slightly over them or stay slightly under them. Thanks

Protein is really low if you use the MFP defaults, so treat as a minimum (as well as fats. It's fine, and often better, to go over those and treat carbs as the variable.

Thanks! My macros are 45carbs 35protein 20fat. Does that still count as the default? I customized them instead of using recomended.

Ah...not the default - better imo. Generally, it is still fine to go over your proteins and fats, but, depending on what the grams end up to be, would likely look to keep as much carbs as possible.
