Hi Everyone,
I have been on a journey over the past two years. I decided to change my lifestyle on April 12, 2011 when I picked up a scale from Walgreens. I came home and stepped on it and it read 325lbs!!!. I'm 5'10 so you can pretty much say I was BIG. I went back out to the grocery store that day, feeling bad but determined to change. I bought lean meats, whole grain bread, rice, and salad. I started to follow my own workout routine on the elliptical machine. In the first three weeks, I cut 14lbs!. I was trying to lose as much weight as possible to attend my best friend's wedding in October 2011. I ended up losing 40 + lbs for his wedding. A month or so later, I ended up dropping my weight another 15 lbs and felt great. It took me 7 months to drop nearly 60 lbs. Ever since, my weight has fluctuated up to 25lbs. I attribute this to a more demanding work schedule, finding the love of my life, and losing focus. Starting as of late October 2013, I began my old routine again. I ended up cutting 20 lbs in 6 weeks. My goal is to lose another 50 lbs. I'm more motivated than ever and thanks to this site, I have a forum where I can commit to and learn from all of your success stories.
