Hi

My fitnesspal recommends about 280g of carb for me at about 2k cal/day(including exercise).

I usually fall anywhere between 180 - 250g.

I know high carb cheat days or meals are for those who are on 'low' carb diets. I'm assuming I don't need 'cheat meals' or 'cheat days' high on carb if that's the case?(aka. no need for carb re-feed)

I began crossfit and even though the WoD are tough, they are only about 20 min max and the rest, 40 min, are spent on olympic/gymnastic movements for strength and skills. I'm not sure if I need 180 - 250g of carb(mostly from brown rice)

For those of you who eat very low carb diets(below 125gish), do you just eat chicken breast and vegetables as a meal?

I find myself feeling famished or tired during workouts when carbs run low.

Just want your opinion on those who do high intensity exercise or hybrid training(circuit/HIIT/weights) such as bootcamp w/ kettlebell, crossfit, or anything else that fits the bill.

What are your carb intake like during weight loss? Do you keep it below 150g ? Is it effective?

On my exercise log, I just log 1 hour crossfit as 15 min crossfit.

Steady state cardio such as walking/running times are halved as well. I find them to be too high on myfitnesspal.

As for weight training outside of crossfit, I lift heavy for strength so it is quite 'strenuous'.

Hope these info would help in assessing whether my carb intake levels are too high or adequate given my weight loss goals(3-4kg weight loss/month, 20kg in 6 months)
