Waking up early and exercise??

Hi

Since I started exercising, I find myself waking up very early, before my alarm. I use to get 9 hours of sleep, now I get 6-8 hours depending on the days. Is that normal? I don't go to sleep earlier than before. I just find it weird and sometimes I get tired a bit.

I don't overdo exercises. I only do about 45 minutes to 1 hour and 15 minutes per day for 6 days with one rest day. I'm in maintenance mode.

Welcome to my life LOL I had the alarm set for 6am but was up at 5:45 and hey that is sleeping in for me  I got up and headed straight to the gym for a couple of hours. I normally get up on run mornings at 4:30am and gym workouts I'm up at 4am. I get probably about 6-7 hours of sleep per night and that works for me but it might not be for everyone. Even on those rare days where I don't set an alarm I'm up no later than 6:30 because that is just how my body is wired. Back in my heavy days I would sleep until 9-10am or even later but not a chance of that happening now!

Oh my this ^^^ is me!!! 100% honestly I used to sleep till 11pr noon to get out of bed on days off. Now that I exercise in the morning I am up and EXCITED to hit the gym. I am there by 4:30am and up checking the alarm at 3am excited to get up. It's freaking crazy!!! I totally changed my life around!!! I am tired though by 9 pm and don't think I'm getting quite enough sleep but I'll catch a 10 min nap every now and then. Either way I'm a way better and happier person!

Well, I'm up at 8:00 usually for gym and breakfast and for the other 20 year olds I live with that is early lol.

I try and get between 7-8 hours. Usually when I'm exercising I have better quality, shorter sleep. If I stop exercising for a couple of weeks I sleep longer and wake up feeling less refreshed.

Normally I get up at 5am and get to the gym.

if life interferes I work out after work.

I don't sleep much anyways. 4 to 5 hrs is a good night.

If I am planning to get up early to exercise I will wake up before my alarm, but otherwise the only reason my sleep has changed is because it's winter, and now I find myself waking up every morning at 3:30am ????
