Was caught up in the middle of a divorce, not something I want to experience again.

Ah, so the person you were fooling around with was married but getting a divorce at the time. Got it.

I would be curious to know if females are overwhelmed when they join dating sites. That seems to be something that would probably happen.

Sometimes I wonder if MFP should be considered a dating site.

I hate the chain stuff. You now, repost this now or bad things will happen soon. Why are social places cheating sites for married couples? I am a member of many sites, including being an administrator for one, and I have never felt the need nor desire to cheat on my wife. If a person is going to cheat, they are going to cheat regardless.

I think that they are a fine source of entertainment and a great way to meet new people and expand your horizons. However, I do think that some people get so wrapped up in it that they develop a preference for online communities and become a little too removed from real-life experiences. A healthy balance between the two is good, in my opinion.

If it's not one way it's another. Social media is pretty much what you make of it.

Don't you think the anonymity of some social sites make it easier to arrange liaisons, where the individuals don't know details about each other?

yeah, but it comes down to the intent of the people involved.

What about for those that are not brave enough for face-to-face interaction? Is it better that they don't have an outlet?
    Just curious your perspective.

Oh, I don't disagree with you. I'm just wondering if the ability to find like-minded individuals in an anonymous and expedited way makes it that some people cheat that may not normally cheat if social media wasn't available.
