smelling like alcohol

Does anyone know why one person can have a couple drinks and not reek of alcohol ? but, when some people drink a couple, people will ask them if they've been drinking? not their breath so much, but it seems to be coming through their skin? Is it only certain kinds of booze ? or the person ?
