Time of the year for beans!

About to head out for my daily walk, but just place a pot of red beans on simmer to cook until this evening!
One of my goals is to reduce the amount of meat that I eat and beans are a great way to do so!
At least once a month, I cook a big batch of beans, measure out portions in one cup and bag.
Very easy meal! Easy to pull out and reheat!
Any one else love eating beans in the winter?

I love beans especially this time of year. I usually do mine in the crockpot with some smoked turkey or sometimes turkey or chicken sausage and serve w/cornbread muffins.0

Love beans.
I usually do them in the crockpot as well with smoked turkey, hammocks, or bacon.
Haven't cooked them in a few months. I usually have a bag of red beans, black eye peas, or some type of mixed bean soup around...0 -
They're great to bulk up soup too!0
