Bluetooth Enabled Polar HR Sensors

I'm looking at maybe purchasing one of the Polar HR Sensors that synch to mobile apps. I would find that so much easier than having two devices (the monitor and the watch) to keep fresh batteries in. Plus, I don't care for the beeping of the watch. Which models has everyone had luck with (been looking at the H6 and H7)? I'm also wondering what the range is on them. I'd like to use it during Bootcamp classes, where I wouldn't wear my phone, but it would be in my coat pocket on the other side fo the room. Thanks for any advice! :)

For starters, you can turn the beeping on the watch off. It's an option in the settings. I have the H7 - the H6 is the newer model I believe but should function exactly the same. I still use my watch with the H7, and use the app LOL. I like the watch because I can easily see my HR at any given time which I use to help with my pacing while running. If that doesn't matter to you, I would definitely go with the blue tooth, though since you already have a model, you can always use that watch with it.

As for distance, I've had my phone about 6' away without issue, but not sure what the range actually is.
