Looking to sort out a routine...

So I work shifts and each shift is 12.5hrs long, I am on my feet all day (I work on a hospital ward) but no time to get to the gym.
I work a varied number of shifts a week (13 shifts per 4 weeks) and sometimes I work nights so I don't tend to go to the gym between shifts or after my last shift.
My gym routine:
- core exercises
- strength training
- cardio (10-20mins)
Should I do 2 sessions of the above each week (not on consecutive days) and do cardio/group class on my other none working days. I need to get into a routine of say getting up at 7am on none work days to get to the gym say 8-8:30am.
I know people say to do 3 strength training sessions a week but obviously I can't do that if 2 of my 3 days off work or after each other

Two full-body strength workouts per week is fine. Try to space them 3-4 days from each other.0
