When adding food -

When I add my food on MFP I see all the stats of the food im about to eat ...

So I had added Progresso Soup Light Vegetable and Noodle . from looking at the Nutrution facts on the back of the can and then comparing it to my fitness pal .. My fitness Pal is off.
the sodium on the can says 690 mg and MFP said something like 480mg
Protein on the can said 2 mg and MFP said 3 mg ????

So now what .... Is MFP not accurate ? because those numbers are a big difference especially the sodium

Well when you allow users to enter nutrition information you'll get some inaccuracy. So you can either 1) fix the entry, 2) create your own entry, or 3) use the inaccurate entry.

Many foods have multiple entries, and they can each have different numbers. Look for phrases like "correct", "from can/box/website", etc. Also, if you have the information there, you can double check to verify that the entry you choose is correct. But the bottom line is that it's all a guessing game really, since calorie labels can have an error of up to 20%. So, try your best to get the correct number, but don't stress too much over it.
