I went to the mall Friday evening and bought a new pair of jeans... granted, they were a different brand and the same size I was wearing at the time that I bought them but when I put them on for the first time last night to actually wear them, they were loose. And it felt great. I might actually be able to go down another pant size by early-mid January!!!! 
Like I said, small nsv but I was quite happy that my new jeans weren't skin tight.. must mean i'm doin something right...
