Need a Boost!

I started my MFP journey about two years ago, and this summer I looked my best and was at my lightest. But these past few months have been stressful work-wise and I haven't made it to the gym half as much, I eat so badly due to know self control (especially sweets when working) and my boyfriend is able to eat creamy fatty foods without it hurting his figure. He also is the main cook so I don't really want to offend him by stopping cooking with him, but he's reluctant to change!

I feel pretty awful about my body and want to start feeling more positive and get back on the horse- any wise words of wisdom would be much appreciated!

I only have a few words of wisdom. First, log your food. Logging my food helped me lose my weight more than working out. This will help you to avoid those sweets that you mentioned during the day. Logging helped me to avoid the cookies, muffins and bagels that were hidden demons in my diet.
Second, you need to have a conversation with your boyfriend and tell him that you want his support in your journey. You want his emotional support but you also need his help in the kitchen. From a man's point of view, I would think that he would be glad that you are making a serious effort to try and improve yourself.
Going to school can be very stressful, especially with the odd and inconsistent hours. I know, I did it full-time for 10 years. Hang in there and try to find a nice support network on campus. I know it's easier said than done!

I don't feel bad about not eating what hubby eats. I've even trained him to cook smaller portions.

    Good luck on your journey!

water. I have been having the same sweets problem at work due to boredom. (it is our slow season, the holidays, and out of boredom I have been munching.) Logging and seeing just how much sugar and how many calories keeps me from going further and I know where I am throughout the day. I suck down water until I am peeing every hour! lol. It has helped me a lot. I have maintained, but I too have had the weight creeping back on until I started to religiously log my food again. Keep your head up, keep logging and the weight will start to come off again.
