Polar H7 & ICardio & Android

HI guys, I have a question about the Polar H7 & ICardio app pairing. Specifically does anybody have it and it is paired working? I can't get the app to "find" my H7. I know it says that it's just a test, and you have to upgrade for the function to work, but If can't get it to work now, why bother buying it.

Anyways, I have the H7, and a Samsung Galaxy 4 with Android 4.3 so it should be working, right?

I couldn't get any HRM to connect with digifit iCardio without first upgrading to "Pro" level. I can't find any reason to spend MVP levels of money for digifit, mapmyrun, or runkeeper.

The H7 uses Bluetooth 4 in Low battery mode, BLE, which is so new in android that not many apps support it.
